ORiS is pleased to join the Space Business Catalyst by Thales Alenia Space, a strategic initiative that supports forward-looking space technologies and fosters collaboration between startups and industry leaders. Participation in the programme represents an important step in advancing ORiS’ vision for in-orbit wireless power transmission enabled by high-power laser systems.

During last week’s Demo Day, ORiS presented its prototype and shared its approach to delivering energy in space through laser-based links. The event provided valuable opportunities for discussions, meaningful connections, and exchanges with experts across the space ecosystem.

The ORiS team also had the opportunity to visit the Thales Alenia Space facilities in Turin, exploring several of the modules and technologies developed on-site, a source of technical inspiration for our ongoing work.
