ORiS has graduated from the 2025/26 Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Space programme, joining a select group of science-based ventures building the next layer of space infrastructure. CDL is a leading non-profit accelerator that pairs deep-tech founders with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and scientists to turn hard science into scalable companies.

Reaching graduation is a milestone in its own right. CDL Space runs an objectives-based process across several sessions, and only the ventures that keep meeting their targets make it to the finish line. For a deep-tech startup, completing the programme is a mark of technical credibility and commercial focus exactly the qualities that matter when the science is as demanding as beaming power by laser.

Over the programme, ORiS sharpened the case for its core technology: laser-based wireless power transmission to recharge satellites, lunar infrastructure, and drones, improving mission continuity and operational efficiency. The mentorship and investor exposure helped translate a bold engineering vision into a clearer path to market, backed by proof points.

CDL Space is delivered globally, with CDL-Toronto working alongside sites including CDL-Paris, CDL-Milan, and CDL-Texas across 17 locations worldwide.
